Experience:7 Education Standard:4 year degree Education Type:Technical or Business JOB REQUIREMENTS: Optimization of all supply chain activities including Kanban inventory replenishment, consignment & SOMI inventory, supplier integration, inventory source control, supplier performance and development, inbound and outbound logistics and indirect materials management. Represent the needs of Athens Operations in the selection and development of suppliers and ensure the effective issuance of purchase orders and purchase order changes as needed to support the various business initiatives including the phase in/phase out of suppliers. Ensure consistent and effective production planning and inventory control with particular emphasis on SIOP, DSA (alignment between Planning and Execution), improving material productivity and driving inventory reduction. Drive improvements in Supplier Order Management through use of Value Stream Mapping and by facilitating interaction with Strategic Sourcing, Engineering and Quality Assurance. Provide planning and logistics support to the NPD process to facilitate the introduction of new products and processes. Identify, disposition and report OSMI. Promote employee development through employee participation in professional organizations and continuing education programs.
